About Us

On November 12, 2022, we generously hosted a Friendsgiving dinner. After dessert, while guests were enjoying each other’s company and conversation, the night took a shocking turn. One attendee was suddenly and inexplicably compelled to light a shot glass of vodka on fire. After numerous requests by Hannah to refrain from putting the safety of fellow guests and the structural integrity of our apartment at risk, the attendee remained dead set on lighting a fire in our home, leaving Hannah no choice but to expel him from the gathering. After ungraciously departing, the attendee sent a message to a close associate regarding the altercation.  

Little did he know, his distasteful message would take on a life of its own. To commemorate the eventful night, Audrey designed hoodies for our guests featuring the text message “Hateful Woman” on the front and the soon to be iconic circle logo on the back.

The original design and memorable backstory unexpectedly resonated with members of our community who did not bear witness to the banishment, and soon we were flooded with numerous requests to sell Hateful Woman hoodies. Hateful Woman LLC quickly transformed into a small, woman-owned business and lifestyle brand.
